Bubba`s II Po-Boys and Seafood in tdibodaux

Probably one of the best home town seefood restaurants I've been to in a while! Be prepared for "flying cups" and they don't accept tips!

Had a lunch of fried fish, shrimp and gumbo and it was really cooked well and was tasty. Enjoyed it tremendously. The man who took our orders was a character which made it fun as well.

Small portions,for the price

The gumbo was amazing and I should know, momma makes the best around town. Not too spicy and has lots of shrimp and flavor. Also they cripsy catfish was also delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

Not very good and too expensive for bad qualité products. The owner is not very nice either.

If you want a "down home" feel while you eat....this is the place. The best Shrimp Po-boys I've eaten and Catfish!!! The service and staff will always make you feel like family. Love it here!!

Not bad at all. Decent prices especially the specials. The staff seems friendly. Wish the fries was an option for the seafood platter special but all in all good Louisiana restaurant to grab some lunch if passing through thibadaux

Love this place..atmosphere is old school comfortable and best boiled seafood..didn't care for boiled crabs until I had them here...they know what they are doing!!

Best gumbo ever! Whenever I am in this area, it’s a “must stop” for me. The menu is a classic Louisiana seafood restaurant with lots of fried shrimp, fish, and oysters. The daily lunch specials have never disappointed me in the 7 years I have been dining here. Stopped in the other day for lunch, and had a bowl of gumbo...WOW...it was spot on!

The Seafood platter was deep-fried and over-crusted...It was difficult to determine the oysters from the shrimp because of the thick hard batter.

My favorite lunch spot when I come to Thibodaux. The daily specials are all fantastic and offer plenty of variety. The staff is always super friendly.

Bubba's II. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and was very satisfied. It was good and filling. Their Cajun bacon salad dressing is delicious. Numerous items on the menu and reasonably priced.

These people were very friendly and very helpful to us who were not use to how to eat certain items... like crawfish! A LOT of hospitality!!! And the food was good too!!!!

Never ever disappointed ! This place has great lunch specials as well as super food anytime. The people are friendly and have wonderful personality!! We would eat here 3 times a week at least if we lived closer. And to top it all off the prices are reasonable. Just absolutely love it.

Food was not all that good. Bland, overpriced and served on plastic w plastic utensils and a styrofoam cup. Smh

Gumbo is amazing. The other food was pretty good. Expensive for what ya get, especially considering how easily obtainable seafood is here. Not very accomadating. The owner definitely has a it's my restaurant take it how you get it attitude.

I got the thin cat fish and my husband got thin catfish and shrimp $40.00 for lunch. No flavor. Dropped over a slice of bread , not French bread.

Always our first stop when we return to Thibodaux, then one for the road when we leave. Clean, right on the bayou. Friendly staff that always makes you smile. Watch out, seafood gumbo has a little heat! Great specials for lunch & dinner. Mac& cheese like your grandma made with spaghetti noodles & baked. Excellent seafood, roast beef po boys, fried oysters, fresh boiled seafood. And don’t forget the Carrot soufflé !

Awesome place. Environment is also awesome! Very friendly staff! Awesome food. My favorite is their seafood in any way! Lots to choose from! Can't go wrong coming here to eat and lool around at their walls of history items!

One of the best places to eat in Thibodaux. Very large menu selections from seafood plates to sandwiches. Also has daily lunch specials.

When I visit Louisiana, I expect to receive good ole down home Creole/Cajun cooking! I lucked up on this gem!! Oh my word...the food was so amazing & Bubba was just as cool as they come. Now I'm not quite sure if that was Bubba himself, but he sure kept us entertained and we left the restaurant feeling pleasing plump. Thank you for the excellent food and service!! Whenever I'm in Thibodaux, I'll swing by for some gumbo & that buttery toast.
